La primavera è sempre molto attesa a Cerreto Sannita, dove in questo periodo si possono raccogliere i Virni o funghi di S. Giorgio, prelibatezze primaverili che ci offrono i verdi boschi cerretesi. Anche quest’anno il Virno sarà celebrato nel corso della Festa dei Funghi insieme agli altri prodotti enogastronomici che arricchiscono abitualmente le tavole del territorio sannita. La manifestazione, come è ormai pregevole consuetudine, cercherà di promuovere insieme ai prodotti tipici locali anche le bellezze paesaggistiche ed artistiche presenti sia sul territorio comunale che su quello che fa da cornice alla cittadina.
Il centro storico, completamente restaurato, ospiterà nei suoi scenografici palazzi, proposte eno-gastronomiche di inimitabile qualità.
Sono in programma visite guidate presso i tesori architettonici di questa capitale della ceramica ed escursioni nello scenografico territorio circostante. Le iniziative promosse sono molto interessanti e, soprattutto non bisogna perdere l’occasione di visitare una cittadina dove è possibile godere insieme l’alta qualità ambientale e quella gastronomica.
